Awesome LA Home in Yin Yang Design

This stunning LA home belongs to Windsor Smith, a talented home designer. Our house trip will peel its interior decors that I’m sure will inspire you to decorate your own home. She chose Yin yang design for her cozy and lavish dwelling. You can visit her sites in and to see her collection and also to look for inspirations. We start our house trip from the family room. This gathering space has a long feature thus the designer intentionally added a sofa with double side to have two seating areas so that she doesn’t need to look at the sofa’s back. The furniture in this family room is from the Home Collection of Windsor Smith. They are coated in Riad Linen in Seafoam which also designed by Smith herself for Kravet.

A large cushion with round feature is added by Windsor Smith and that huge item is upholstered by Perennials in Very Terry in Blanca to an ottoman which is made of rattan from Calypso Home. Stools of Bronze-and-zebra from Holly Hunt can flexibly be moved wherever they are needed by the inhabitants in this yin yang design home. Jute rug that covers the surface of the floor is from Stark Carpet. White paint by Benjamin Moore brings neutral look to the walls and ceiling. An Indian fabric with vintage accent and chevron pattern was cut up to cover the lounge chair of Marrakesh. Just add a cushioned pillow on it to make your back comfortable.

The designer is a traditional at heart and this is her David Adler traditional foyer. She chose limestone of Bateig Blue and statuary marble for the floor. The Entry Round Settee which has tufted accent is covered in a Rogers & Goffigon silk from Windsor Smith Home collection. This yin yang design foyer is illuminated by a Venetian lantern which has a stunning old look. A Venetian mirror in glossy silver adds a glint to this traditional space. An open storage is used to accommodate many potted plants to bring the natural touch in this area. The walls are painted in Titanium by Benjamin Moore. A staircase will connect you to the upstairs of this yin yang design home.
