The bold blue wainscoting was installed by the decorator of the former owner. The tiles are glazed with Portuguese touch. The intricate and neat pattern of the tiles is framed by the wainscotings at the lower and upper part of the tile; while the rest of the wall is painted in neutral white as the backdrop. “Do they look gorgeous, don’t they?” says Joe Nye as the designer of this project. The pattern adds luxuriousness to this private space. He covered the side chair nearby the tub with an appealing contemporary look of the linen stripe in blue and white. The subtle colors of the chair emit a contrast look with the dark brown shade of the wooden legs. We can feel the classic feel from the wall mounted candle holder. Besides decorating the corner spot, it also illuminates the area in an elegant manner. A framed-ornament will always be a good idea to enliven the display of any interior décor. Thus, you can mount it on the surface of your plain wall. A bunch of bright yellow flowers will enliven the ambiance in this modest master bath.
This master bath offers you an open view to the courtyard with the double French doors. The wood frames of the doors are painted in pristine white color which also dominates the backdrop in this private space. The front part of the bath is screened by the use of cedar fence in 10-foot size. The chess floor that emits the contrast blend of black and white brings color to this all in a white room. The double doors also permit an instant sunlight to irradiate and warm the entire space inside. The sink base which is used is a French buffet of the 18th century with Kohler fixtures. The white claw foot tub creates an enticing display together with the round side table and a side armchair. To add an artistic value to this space, some decorative ornaments and paintings are mounted on the surface of the neutral white wall. A huge potted greenery is placed nearby the main entrance to bring a natural feel to space.
