Indigo shades bring a colorful thread that flows thru this living room. The dark shades unify the spaces in a smooth way. The pillows that complete the look of the wingback chairs are in Archive New York’s and D. Bryant Archie’s Kampala which have metallic stripe pattern on their covers. The side table of Chrome Oval is placed apart from the main table is from Flair. The glass pendant lighting of Neverending Glory Palais Garnier is by Lasvit that irradiates the parlor in a stylish way. The mantel fireplace is used to display some artworks and stunning black table lamps to illuminate the spot.
The soft hues complete the selected blend of old and new items to the spacious sitting room. Marshall Watson is the talented designer of this project. She put Gustavian chairs which have an antique accent to sit alongside the new items such as the white custom sofa in Pindler’s Trent. Another stunning seat is a couple of custom chairs which are nestled against the windows. They are in Schumacher’s Seneca with stripe upholstery. The shades that embrace the translucent windows are in Pindler’s Calverton. At the left side of the space, there is a built-in fireplace with a weaving basket to store the firewoods. Some decorative ornaments such as candle holders and ceramic are added on the mantel fireplace.
The feature wall in neutral hue is adorned by ginger jars gallery that creates a mesmerizing display to the living room. To bring the impact of an Asian theme, Miles Redd bought some white and white jars. The designer also added brackets which are arranged in a neat and clustered way. All the decorative ornaments are from an auction. After finding those idyllic pieces, he rehung them thru the family room of his mom’s home. One of the brackets has an overscale size thus it is placed in the center of the display as an axis. To create a balanced appearance, a green sofa is placed in the middle with two stunning wooden side tables.
